My hair + me= disaster

I never really learned how to take care of my own hair. From birth to 18 years of age,I either had people doing all kind of stuffs to my hair or my mom taking care of it. So of course I wanted a relaxer, going against all who refused, claiming I had "good hair". Anyways, the first year was amazing, enjoying my straight hair, but salons were expensive(Dominicans of course). Long story short, my hair started thinning and breaking, I swore every time I put a relaxer it felt like I had a brain tumor. 6 years relaxing my hair I decided it was enough. My hair was unhealthy and yucky, so that's how I got back into the natural world, but this  time around taking care of it myself. Even though I hesitated, because I don't follow trend and I didn't want people to think I was actually doing it to join the crowd, but I am actually happy that I find a lot of information to guide me through.  Ok there it goes...
